ETSY

So, I lost my ETSY virginity the other day. After many many months of scouring the page and simply typing wedding into the search bar, I have made a purchase. I bought my garter.

I was so excited! I told my maid of honour, L about it and she was disappointed as she was going to buy it. This was followed by another comment saying that your bridesmaids are supposed to buy that for you. I have never been in a bridal party above a flower girl position so this convention never even occurred to me. oh well. its done now.

On other peoples wedding news, I received two hens invites. One for Mid march (wedding end of March) and the other  for the end of June (wedding early August). This organisation concerns me. The only talk of my hens is the fact that I have to be repaid for the penis straws I bought for one of my bridesmaids hens. Not sure if the thought has gone beyond that. I really don't want it to have to come to the stage that I have to organise my own. I'm worrying about a lot of nothing especially since the wedding is over 9 months away. But if you have read my blog, you would know a) I start my sentences with but and 2) I worry about things unnecessarily.

  1. Don't worry about the early bookings, I think 4 weeks notice is enough for a hen's night. So 2-3 months before hand you can worry if no discussion has started. If you're MOH was planning to buy your gartar for you, be sure she has ideas already for your hens!

    1. I know all this. I'm just a worry wart. I just need to appreciate that some people are more organised and my MOH is studying as well as working full time, T is travelling until august, and the other is at uni full time.
