Time is a tickin'

Hi,

It has been a while since I have posted something substantial. It has been very busy on this end. M and I have been getting used to living with each other full time. Housework has become a responsibility of mine again (as opposed to living with Mum). I have also been trying to get back into the gym for the last 7 weeks before.

News of my day- I was about to go over to Mums to try on my dress with my shoes (in blue) and M noticed one of my tyres was flat flat flat. :( So when I got back from the gym this morning we changed it. When I say we, I mean him. I watched and diligently passed nutty/ bolty things back to him when he needed it. So now all morning I have been going around calling him my hero!

For the rest of the day, when I actually regain use of my legs from a tough cycle class, I will go and attempt to get my dress altered. I had a recommendation from someone I used to work with so hopefully it will be all good.

That's me really.

Things to mention

It's been 2 weeks since my last post and so much has happened.

M and I moved into the unit we've rented.

I got my wedding shoes in the mail

I received my veil

I received my hair comb

Invitations are OUT. RSVPs are trickling in slowly.

Speaking of that. We put both our mobile numbers on our invitations, expecting that we would get phone calls with peoples responses. We have been getting text RSVPs. I actually thought people would send cards. We have received one so far from M's grandparents. Anyway this is what we came up with. It took 11 hours because it took 4 trips to office works and other places to sort out the wrong colour paper we got sent from cards and pockets. I have a cranky email to send them shortly.

Cupcakes

A while ago I did a cupcake decorating course. 8x 1hr sessions where we just learnt the very basics. I was on the 12wbt at the time so my work mates were very helpful in taking the off my hands.

Today was a good work friends last day of work before she went on maternity leave. I took the opportunity to break my baking drought and make some baby themed cupcakes.

Packed her trunk and said goodbye to the circus.

(oh childhood) I put this into you tube and it turned out that I had it totally wrong.

Anyway, the reason for those lyrics is because I am leaving the nest. AGAIN. 

M is coming with me. He is leaving his nest for the first time. With 91 days until the wedding

We have decided to find /rent an apartment of our own and have our space an start our life together.

My future husband is happy about it too which is great. 

I can't wait. 

Packing again however.... lol oh well . well worth it

Centrepieces

I went to see my wedding coordinator today . I was very happy with her manner and her service. A definite change from the girl who I had to deal with at the tasting. She didn't make me feel rushed and kept offering for me to come back in to play with ideas that I had. The main reason for the visit is that the centrepiece that we wanted originally and was originally an option for us was no longer available due to its poor condition and there were new ones available.

I actually don't mind this one.

They were supposed to be candelabras ( First three pictures ). However I think they may be too blingy for what I want. 

I went to a wedding last week where the ambient  light came primarily from candle light and I really love that. This is what they had

Honeymoon

M and I booked our honeymoon last night. I have being eyeing it off on Expedia for ages now and we finally had the time and funds to book it!

Our wedding is on the Friday and we won't leave until the Tuesday because for some reason the price difference of a day was about $500.


Lomani Island Resort is the destination. It looks absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait. I just can't wait to be married to M and have a break with just us and no one else ( that we know ) . . . . 15 weeks.
